PHYSICS

Sec 3 Physics Catch-up

Date: Every Wednesdays on 8, 15, 22, 29 November

This 4 weeks revision programme is generally for students to clarify their understanding of the S3 Physics that were already taught to them in school. In this programme, we will go through questions from school papers, break them down in easy-to-understand concepts and teach step-by-step solutions so that students can attempt similar questions on their own. This will be especially helpful to those who did not do so well for their finals. This module will be taught by Mr Terence.

Sec 4 Physics Head-Start

Date: Every Mondays on 6, 13, 20, 27 November

This 4 week advanced learning programme will focus on 2 major topics – Wave and Light. Light is a bulky topic and many concepts can be confusing for students. The focus will therefore be more on Light. Most of the lesson will be exercises as light requires a lot of application. A lot of pencil drawing will be done as these topics require graphs and ray-tracing. This module will be taught by Mr Terence.

CHEMISTRY

Sec 3 Chemistry Catch-Up

Date: Every Tuesdays on 7, 14, 21, 28 November

For this chemistry crash course, we will revise key concepts covered in sec 3. The topics include Chemical bonding, Chemical calculations, Acid and bases and Salts and others. The straight-to-the-point explanations will strengthen your foundation in chemistry which is needed in order to answer application and databased questions in the examinations. Notes and worksheets with answers will be provided. This module will be taught by Ms Chen.

BIOLOGY

Sec 3 Biology Catch-Up

Date: Every Fridays on 3, 10, 17, 24 November

For this crash course, it will be a revision of the Secondary 3 topics like Biological in Molecules, Nutrition in Plants and Animals, and more. There will be an emphasis on application questions and answering techniques, while helping students to strengthen facts and vocabulary used in the Biology examinations. The skills covered will be: 1) Using the right vocabulary/ Biology Terminology, 2) Describing Essay Questions, 3) Deciphering Photomicrographs and Electron Micrographs. All lessons will come with accompanying notes, diagrams and questions. This module will be taught by Ms Tina.
